Consider expenses for an outdoor kitchen not as cost, but as investment. While evaluating a home it is often the bathroom and the kitchen which influence its real estate value. Keeping this in mind it is wise if you could invest in good quality materials for the outdoor kitchen. Stainless steel is popular and long lasting. However if you plan to call a company and order a custom made stainless steel bbq island, think twice. It will have the same lifespan as a normal island. Do you really need it?
